What got you excited about Bike Angels in the first place?
Hi I'm Noe, and Blue Bikes (Boston's bikeshare) is my standard way of transiting. I joined because I figured earning rewards could be fun and a fun way to compete with other Blue Bikers. One of the nicest Blue Bikers out there is bihnbikes boston on Instagram--he keeps finishing his quest of going to all of the docks, but new docks are activated every year. We're a smaller system than Citi Bikes, so I don't think many of us post amazing points every day, but we're pretty steadily racking points.
What keeps you riding today?
Car traffic in Boston is bad. While its getting better and safer to drive, everyone that can avoid using a car should. I do not have a desire to park and unpark cars in tiny parking spaces every day--that's called being a valet and its a separate job from my job. It feels a lot nicer to undock a bike and dock it somewhere where someone else needs it.
What is your favorite leisure trip when you aren’t hustling for points?
There are so many! Docks are located at our major arenas, concert halls and restaurant areas. One of the nicest spots to ride in Boston is along the Esplanade and there are convenient docks near the Esplanade.

Hi there, notl33twelcome to the community! And, thank you for posting to share about your experiences with Bluebikes. I love this insight!
Excited to see how conversations here grow. We're inviting more Bluebikes Angels to join the community, so if you're noticing not many of the conversations are Boston-centric—stick with us. That should change!

Good to see another bluebiker. I am also hoping to visit all the stations; we’ll see how far I get. I just made it out to auburndale in Newton today. Beautiful day in early fall, great day for bluebike
