Bike Angels Community Guidelines
When you participate in our online Community, you’re contributing to a community that puts people first. Where everyone is treated with equal respect and kindness. The kindness and safety of our Community is important to us. To keep our Community as helpful and respectful as possible, we expect that you abide by our Lyft Support Communities Terms, including these Bike Angels Community Guidelines.

- Always use appropriate and respectful language when participating in the Community. Avoid racist, sexist, abusive, harassing, defamatory, pornographic, threatening, obscene or otherwise offensive language that could be considered detrimental to anyone.
- Do not post content that is illegal, or intended to promote an illegal act of any kind, including violations of intellectual property rights, privacy rights or proprietary rights.
- Do not post links to malware, viruses, or otherwise malicious material.
- Do not post content that involves advertising or other commercial or sales activities, such as contests or sweepstakes.
- Do not claim to be a representative of Lyft or any of its bikeshare programs such as Citi Bike, Bluebikes, or Bay Wheels.
- Do not share ways to game or cheat the Bike Angels system or rewards.
Community Etiquette
- Before posting a question, check to see if anyone else has experienced the same issue and already posted somewhere in the Community. There may be an accepted answer waiting for you.
- Sidestep the desire to double post. Lyft will remove duplicate threads or posts created by a user.
- Be sure that the thread you are posting on is relevant to your question or topic. Please only post what is relevant to the thread and avoid discussing personal details or topics.
- If you have multiple questions or topics, create a new thread or find one that is related. Adding additional questions into existing threads clutters that conversation.
- Keep in mind that what you post can be seen by all users. Please do not post personal information such as name, address, social security number, email address, or credit card number, of you or other persons, and don’t solicit personal data from others.
Reporting inappropriate content
- If you see a community post you think is inappropriate you can click on the dots and then Report Inappropriate Content.
- Please also report inappropriate private messages you receive by clicking the gear icon, then ‘Report as Inappropriate’ at the top of the message.
What if these guidelines aren’t for me?
Behavior that violates our Community Guidelines outlined above is not welcome when you’re joining in on the conversation with other riders. Anyone who doesn’t follow these guidelines, our Lyft Support Communities Terms, or Lyft’s Terms of Service may be banned from the Community or have their posts edited and/or removed by the moderation team.
