Not sure why the site was down on Wednesday, but has anyone else discovered that they can no longer send or reply to private messages and/or contact Jess since then? Jess...please review the new ...
I have not received an email to date...and having to log on to this site on my computer with both a phone code and inputting my email address every single time is ridiculous. Is that much security really necessary here? With regard to the 1099s...they had the information last year, and nothing has changed...nor has Citibike notified me that the form needed to be completed annually. If no other entity requires me to complete a tax form every single year (when I have not changes of address or personal information)...why would Citibike require it again (without notification). Did someone lose my paperwork or something? Please review your files and send me the 1099 immediately. We have been asking for this for some time now.
I followed up with your comments on the initial thread about this and at your AOL email address. I DM'd you a few hours ago to confirm the email address is correct. I understand that you aren't able to reply. I sent the email to the email address currently listed on your account profile for Lyft and Citi Bike.
Thanks for your reply here. I have sent an actual email to your AOL email address, and will keep my eyes on that thread.
Re: community DM replies: I am aware of this issue and am working to resolve things, so members can reply to DMs again. Thanks for raising your concerns about this.
How am I supposed to send you the tax form if there is still no way to respond to your private messages on here? I do not feel comfortable sending financial information to a general Lyft CSR email address.
Plus...I cannot imagine that the accounting office does not have a record of my tax information given the fact that they must be required to keep a copy of the 1099-Misc document they sent to me last year. This really just makes no sense. My taxes are all complete except for the income from Lyft.
Also, I do not have the option to cash out rewards for anything other than gift cards. In fact, one card for $1.70 was sent to me by accident after the new option to choose when to redeem points was in place. The screen must have been accidentally been activated in my pocket. I received the gift card on Thu, Nov 9, 2023. The only time I ever was offered the option to choose how to cash out my points was the very first time I signed up. I do not want any more Amazon gift cards. Half the time I order something from Amazon it comes damaged and has to be returned. I was told that they could be redeemed for cash at any time. I am getting the sense that not everyone at Lyft is on the same page. I am attaching a screen shot to demonstrate what the app looks like right now.
Also, is there a reason I am being awarded "free ebike rewards" or did I actually cash in points for that accidentally as well? And why does it show up differently in in the two different rewards sections?
