New Rewards How do you cash out?
So I am confussed Tremendous no longer pays us The gift cards are still an end of the month payment? Why did the new rewards program come across that you can cash out your points any time...

This new system should not been a surprise roll out and fully explained via email before the launch
A large number of Bike Angels were paid in FULL for the month of May
I was only paid for three days of May
I should have been informed that this would happen but was not.
Do you find not informing people of policy and guidance of new system acceptable?
You make the process of redeeming points as instant, it is not for gift cards
If you are redeeming for CitiBike or Lyft services, the redeeming of points is instant
When redeeming for an e gift card with points it goes as follows
points go to an e gift card
e gift card goes to you reward section of your app
the fine prints says
"E GIFT CARDS REDEEMED VIA EMAIL AT THE END OF THE NEXT MONTH"
Unfortunately, this will not work in NY State
The small percentage of Bike Angels that use points for e cards that get converted to cash via wire transfers for a calendar month tallied at the end of said month and pay via wire transfer the following month were now transferred to 60 day payment system
Because of 1099 over 800 dollars makes Bike Angels gig employees
The Freelancing isn't Free Act of NY requires that workers be paid 30 days after completion of the job
Failure to pay means the gig worker is entitled to court ruling 10 times the original amount owed with 25,000 dollar fine issued to Citi Bike
Eliminating a calendar month just makes your case even worse

I understand you still have concerns and questions about the Bike Angels Rewards program and recent changes, and I want to help. I realize you expected more information about the new rewards redemption process, and I have shared that feedback internally.
Bike Angels is a rewards program and not an employment relationship, as Bike Angels earn points and redeem them for prizes. To redeem cash rewards and receive them the following month, you’ll redeem rewards in your app using points from your points bank. Any cash rewards redeemed in a given month will be sent in a Tremendous email the following month, usually within the first week.
Points earned in May that didn’t get used to redeem rewards are in your points bank and available for use. You can redeem points earned in May in June. Points won’t expire each month moving forward.
