If you pick up from a station with a valet, do you have to pick up from the dock for it to count?
While there have always been bikes available in the docks at a station with a valet, it did get me thinking about how that would work if there weren't any or maybe I wanted a specific type that wasn't currently docked, but was available from the valet. Would the points associated with that pickup station still be registered if the bike comes from the valet rather than the dock?
The same could be asked about the other way around. Would you still get the points associated with a dropoff station that has a valet collecting the bike rather than using the docks?
Valets never just give bikes to or take bikes from riders; you always need to retrieve and return a bike at a dock. Otherwise there’s no way to track who has taken or returned bikes.
