What’s Next? 🌆🚴

The weather is warming up, and so is activity in the community. As we work to add value to the community for all Bike Angels, we’re focusing on ramping up our FAQ section with community-curated solutions

Community Tune Up 👼💪

Where does the content in the FAQ section come from?

The FAQ tab is home to articles that are created from community topics and questions. We currently have specific categories for content about Points, Rewards, and Basics that house articles about those topics. We’ll add new categories to the FAQ section as new themes emerge in the community.

How accepted solutions strengthen the FAQ

Content in the FAQ is sourced from topics solved in the community. Once a topic is marked as solved, community members and moderators nominate solved posts for addition to the FAQ. Nominated topics are reviewed by the Bike Angels Team before becoming FAQ articles.

Want to see your solutions show up in the FAQ?

A topic must have an accepted solution to be eligible for nomination. The most thoughtful and thorough replies will be the ones that solve member topics and leave helpful content for other Angels online. Below are some elements of a solid reply:

  • Restate the issue | make sure you’re in the same lane
  • Be friendly and mindful of community guidelines | we’re here to do good
  • Provide source info | links and images are very helpful to add context to replies

Wheelie Good News 🛞🗞

In an effort to provide more insight into the moves Angels make, we compiled some alternate insights here for our Citi Bike Angels! Check out the February stats readout below:

Hi Jess  Thanks for the info. I love seeing all the stats. However, one of the small charts seem to be incorrect, unless I’m misunderstanding it.

By way of introduction I’m RD902.

The first chart shows l took 408 points earning rides in Feb? That number is more like a weekly total for me. For instance, last Friday was an average day and I took 61 points earning rides.

Another way to look at it: I earned 13202 points last month. If I only took 408 rides that would mean I earned an average of 32 points per ride (!) which is quite a feat since 24 is the max nowadays with a 3x boost.

More stats in the future please!

RickyDee Thanks for taking the time to comment and share your feedback about the stats readout. That totally makes sense the way you broke it down, and I will flag it with our team. The report was newly created to add value to the community newsletter, so I will* double-check my work all around to make sure that stat readouts are consistent and accurate here. 😊 Thank you for your dedication to Bike Angels, and please let me know if there's any other content you'd like to see here.
